#104 – Finding Dory and Patient Parenting

On this episode of the Reel World Theology Podcast:

dory001We hope you’re ready to discuss the highest grossing domestic film of 2016 (so far)! No, not Batman v Superman or Civil War, but Finding Dory. That’s right, as what might come as no surprise to some, Pixar’s latest is connecting with audiences of all ages as giving a lift to an otherwise subpar Summer box office. Despite it being another sequel, this Finding Nemo sequel would be ‘floundering’, but it’s emotional connection and rarely seen theme helps it stand up and be worthy of its success. We get to discuss what we took from the film and what people of all ages can enjoy about this sequel.
