REEL WORLD in Real Life (Summer 2014)

reel_world_catechism_2014

It’s that time of year again when REEL WORLD Theology gets to meet up and have real conversations in real time with really cool folks. These are always a lot of fun because it gives anyone who wants to a chance to chime in on how they felt about the themes and narratives of particular films. We have chosen another great variety of films, from animated, to classic, to independent to “love zombie.” I mean, what else could you want, right?

Join us for one, two, or ALL of our Friday night events this Summer as we take in a movie and, with popcorn in hand, take a shot at examining each of the films on the schedule.

Thanks to the generosity of facilities, each showing will begin at 7pm in the basement classroom at Hope Chapel (1825 Spring Garden St. Greensboro, NC 27403) except for the July 25th showing of The Matrix which will be shown at the home of Mikey Fissel (aka. the Fizz Pad, 4704 Wakewood Dr. Greensboro, NC 27407). FREE popcorn and soda provided!
